ALCHEMYSTICAL
TAROT DECK

Kickstarter Campaign

The AlcheMystical Tarot Deck is a 92-card deck that was co-created with Chinkal Pareek. It takes users on a journey towards expanding consciousness. The final product was brought to life thanks to a successful Kickstarter campaign in May 2021 when nearly $19,000 was pledged by supporters to make it happen. A special thank you goes to LudoCards for their printing expertise.

TIDAL LIGHT YOGA

Branding & Illustration

I had the pleasure of creating the online presence for Tidal Light Yoga. The brand's core values of balance and harmony were reflected in the design, with whimsical characters practicing yoga in brand colors. Additionally, we incorporated the owner's canine friends as adorable yoga dogs, adding a touch of playfulness to the overall aesthetic. To further enhance the user experience, we created a video that showcased the range of characters.

LUNCHBOX LARRY
AND FRIENDS

Illustration & Motion Marketing

Lunchbox Larry and Friends was a project aimed at promoting the Horizons' Lunchbox Fundraiser supporting Meals on Wheels. The project involved creating a set of characters that represented each of the five sandwich options, including Wilma Wrap, Italian Sam, Chicken Sal, Ronnie Roast Beef and Tina Turkey, along with Lunchbox Larry. The characters were designed to be fun, friendly and relatable, making them appealing to audiences of all ages. I used a mix of traditional and digital techniques to create the illustrations, bringing the characters to life in a way that would resonate with the target audience. The motion design aspect involved creating short animations featuring the characters, which were used to promote the fundraiser on social media and other digital channels.

PRIMAL VISION
ART CARDS

Image Design & Packaging

Primal Vision Art Cards feature stunning artwork of close-up animal eyes, each with a unique meaning and vision that is detailed on the back of each card. The packaging design is original and features two pieces with a fold-out style box. The goal was to create a design that not only captured the essence of the animal's vision but also enhanced the user's experience while using the cards. I utilized a pastel color palette to create a calming and inviting vibe, while the touch of gold gradient added a feel of luxury to the overall design. The result was a visually stunning and informative card deck that is not only functional but also an elegant work of art. This project celebrates the beauty and diversity of the animal kingdom while providing users with an enriching experience. Check out the prototype below.

LIPAN APACHE SHIELD

Pyrography - Art

I had the honor of creating a pyrography piece of art for the Tribal Chairman of the Lipan Apache Tribe of Texas, Bernard Barcena. The artwork was created using a pyrography pen, which allowed me to burn intricate designs onto a wooden board. Once the pyrography was complete, I used watercolors in the Lipan Apache sacred colors to paint the piece, bringing the design to life. The finished artwork was a stunning representation of the Lipan Apache culture and heritage, incorporating traditional symbols and elements that were meaningful to Chairman Barcena and his community. The creation of this piece allowed me to showcase my skills as an artist while also contributing to the preservation of Native American culture and heritage. I am proud to have had the opportunity to create something that will hold significant value for Chairman Barcena and the Lipan Apache Tribe for years to come.

DENISE NICOLETTE

Branding & Web Design

The website for Denise Nicolette features a collection of her stunning photography prints available for purchase, providing customers with the opportunity to bring her unique perspective and artistry into their homes. Additionally, the website includes a blog section where Denise shares her world travels with her beloved cats, adding a personal touch to the overall experience. The design of the website was intended to showcase Denise's personality while providing a seamless user experience. We opted for a clean, modern aesthetic with easy-to-navigate sections that allow customers to browse and purchase prints with ease. The end result was a beautifully designed website that reflects Denise and her artistry, providing a platform for her to share her work with the world.

BALLROOM BLITZ STRETCH

Stylized Illustration

The design for this stylized illustrative poster began after a guitar lesson with my instructor. The concept is based on the lyrics to a popular song "The Ballroom Blitz," along with the frets used to create certain sounds in the song. The dancers in the photo capture the chaotic lyrical story as they step on the 7th and 12th frets on the neck of the guitar.

The neck of the guitar was hand drawn using Adobe Illustrator on iPad Pro. Adobe Photoshop was used to add special touches, such as filter techniques and text effects.

The poster is 16x20" and has been printed professionally on semi-gloss paper.
